How We Deliver Eye Care

iDrishti's district-coverage model brings high-quality eye care from the hospital all the way to the village.

iDrishti Eye Hospital

Eye Hospital

A fully-equipped surgical hospital in each district's semi-urban hub. Specialist doctors, modern OT and advanced diagnostic equipment.

iDrishti Vision Centre — tele-ophthalmology

Vision Centers

Real-time tele-ophthalmology in smaller towns. A trained optometrist examines the patient while a specialist consults and advises remotely.

iDrishti Mobile Eye Clinic

Mobile Eye Clinics

7 award-winning custom mobile clinics reach every village. On-the-spot screening, glasses and medicines — surgery patients transported free.

Our Services

Comprehensive care for the full spectrum of eye conditions, delivered by experienced specialists.

Our Social Impact

iDrishti is a social impact enterprise. Our hospitals become self-sustaining based on walk-in patients who pay for their care. Each hospital delivers outreach programs into the community, serving patients from lower income groups with subsidised and free care. These patients receive free consultations at our hospitals, subsidised glasses, diagnostics, and surgeries offered at the marginal cost of care.

CSR Partnership Opportunity

Adopt a Village Program

Millions of villagers in Karnataka live without access to basic eye care. Preventable blindness is robbing families of livelihoods — and most don't even know they need help.

Children, women and senior citizens are most deprived — no access to eye care within reach
Cataract and diabetic retinopathy go undetected for years — they develop slowly with no pain
Uncontrolled diabetes blocks surgery — patients go blind waiting to become eligible

Our Program is designed to improve the eye health of everyone in the village over 3 years.
